Latics Vs. Blackburn. Bent, Landzaat & Scharner all on the score sheet. It finished 5-3 to latics with Bent netting a hat-trick. Wigan's 3 -0 lead was lost when Santa Cruz scoring before half time. Back out and he scored another it became very worring for all wigan fans then came the big blow of the afternoon Santa Cruz netted his hat-trick and the game was back at 3-3. Latics did not give up and in the 66 minute Bent restored Wigan's lead. Rounding it all up and scoring his hat-trick Bent put the score to 5-3. It was a much needed early chirstmas present for all latics fans.
